Meet Stacey Smith
Founder of Number-Smith
I’m Stacey Smith, a seasoned accounting professional with over 15 years of experience helping businesses regain control of their financials during times of transition. I’ve worked across industries—professional services, non-profits, SaaS, property management, and renewable energy—leading cleanup efforts, reconciling complex balance sheets, and supporting multiple ERP implementations, including NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Xero, and QuickBooks Online.
I got my start in property management, rising quickly from Accounting Clerk to Accounting Manager. That’s where I developed my love for finding clarity in the mess and building processes that actually work.
In the nonprofit space, I’ve brought the same level of care and precision—helping organizations navigate the unique compliance and reporting requirements that come with managing donor funds, grant revenue, and board oversight. I also serve on the board of 2 local nonprofits, where I use my skills to support mission-driven work in a strategic, sustainable way.
Over the years, I’ve expanded my experience across a variety of industries, and I’ve noticed a clear pattern: during times of transition, accounting teams are often overwhelmed. Critical projects get delayed, important details fall through the cracks, and teams are left stuck between systems—losing both momentum and morale.
I started Number-Smith to offer a better path forward: high-level, flexible support that helps teams move through change with confidence and clarity—without burning out.
If your business is in transition and your team needs support, I’m here to help bring balance to your books and peace of mind to your people—so you can get back to focusing on what matters most.
